Marcelo is a thought leader and strategist, based in Washington DC, passionate about the responsible use of technology for development and social inclusion. He is committed to connecting entrepreneurs, startups, and influencers (public and private) who are developing innovative solutions to reduce poverty and improve lives. He’s been at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for over 20 years where he previously managed the social sector department, the office of external relations, and the education division of the IDB. Experienced in operations, business development, partnerships, strategic communications, and organizational change.
