Luis del Carpio

Economist from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM); holds a Master’s in Management and a Master’s in Finance from the Universidad del Pacífico, as well as a Ph.D. in Global Economic Management from UNMSM.

He has over 20 years of experience in the formulation, structuring, and execution of infrastructure and public service projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model and asset-based project schemes.

He has served as an international advisor for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Guatemala and as a university lecturer at several institutions in Peru.

Previously, he was Director of the Special Projects Directorate at PROINVERSIÓN, where he oversaw a portfolio of strategic infrastructure projects across transportation, communications, health, tourism, irrigation, mining, and real estate sectors, among others.

He has led landmark projects such as the Kuélap Cable Cars (Amazonas), the Modernization of the Salaverry Port Terminal (La Libertad), the Pisco Port Terminal (Ica), and the Lima Peripheral Ring Road, among others.
