Fiduciary Senior Specialist, Procurement, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
Adriana Salazar is a Procurement Specialist with the Financial Management and Procurement for Operations Office at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She has 15 years of experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of public policies related to public investment, socioeconomic project evaluation, energy infrastructure, social policy, public procurement, and sustainability.
Before joining the IDB, she served as Director of Economic Studies at the Public Procurement Policy Unit of the Mexican Government, where she contributed to the design and implementation of the new public procurement system, recipient of the United Nations Public Service Award.
Adriana holds a degree in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master’s in Public Administration and Social Policy from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom, among other academic credentials.
