César Buenadicha is the Head ai of the Ecosystem Building and Acceleration Division at BID Lab, where he leads an international team of specialists in identifying and co-creating high-impact innovations and ventures across Latin America and the Caribbean. His work focuses on strengthening innovation ecosystems through financing, strategic connections, and key regional events.
César holds a Ph.D. in Economics as well as a dual degree in Law and Business Administration and Economics.
He has extensive experience in economic development and entrepreneurship. For ten years, he worked in Honduras, El Salvador, and Bolivia, leading productive development and employment programs in collaboration with Spanish and Dutch cooperation agencies. Previously, he gained experience in the private sector as a lawyer at the prestigious international law firm Clifford Chance in Madrid.
His approach combines hands-on field experience with deep expertise in designing and implementing strategies to drive the growth of startups and innovation ecosystems in emerging markets.
