Director General, Economic Development Promotion Department, The Export-Import Bank of Korea
Ms. Kyunglin (Lynn) Kim is the Director General and Head of Economic Development Promotion department at The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), responsible for Development Finance function for both public and private sectors.
Since joining 2001 in KEXIM, she has mainly worked for project finance and credit policy division as well as corporate restructuring in shipping and shipbuilding industries in late 2010s.
She has over 20 years project and corporate financing experience in KEXIM with focus on energy (including nuclear), infrastructure and minerals. Currently she is a head of Economic Development Promotion Department since July 2024. In this role, she supervises the planning and operation of EDPF (Economic Development Promotion Facility), untied concessional loan to support projects in developing countries with sovereign borrowers as well as PDIF (Private-sector Development Investment Facility), market based loan to serve the financing needs of private sectors in developing countries and emerging markets. Before joining Economic Development Promotion department, she led mineral, power (nuclear, renewable and conventional) finance team and credit policy team.
Ms. Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University and Master of Overseas Investment from KDI School of Public Policy and Management. She is a CFA charter-holder.
