Chief of the Private Sector, Synergies, and Trade Unit (PST)
Sebastián González Saldarriaga, a dual citizen of Colombia and Spain, serves as Chief of the Private Sector, Synergies, and Trade Unit (PST) in the Inter-American Development Bank’s (IDB) Sector for Productivity, Trade, and Innovation (PTI). He leads strategic platforms and initiatives to strengthen private sector engagement, advance the regional trade agenda, and foster synergies between the public and private sectors. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Geography from the University of Miami. Sebastian also holds certificates in International Business Management from Georgetown University and in Economic Development from Harvard University. He has more than 15 years of experience at the IDB Group and, previously, in the private sector.
