Trade Policy Research and Strategy Team at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA)
Seongdae Cho leads the Trade Policy Research and Strategy Team at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
He has served as a trade expert for Korean businesses for more than 20 years.
Before joining KITA in 2008, he worked for the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) for over four years.
He also joined the FTA negotiating team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT) and participated in FTA negotiations with ASEAN and India.
He has contributed to several joint studies on Korea’s FTAs and served as Vice Chair of Korea’s Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) for the Korea–EU FTA.
He provides consulting services to Korean companies on various trade issues and advises foreign businesses on trade with Korea.
Mr. Cho holds a B.A. and an M.A. in International Law from Korea University in Seoul, and has completed coursework in International Economic Law at the same university.
