Managing Director, Banco Santander – Head of Export Agency Finance Asia Pacific
Sun Jung Lee is Managing Director in Banco Santander’s Export and Agency Finance team, leading the Asia Pacific Region from Hong Kong. She brings over 20 years of experience managing relationships with multiple Asian Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and corporates across the Asia-Pacific region to finance a wide range of sectors, including shipping, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, commodities, and defense globally.
Before joining Banco Santander, she served as an ECA Officer at KSURE in Seoul.
Ms. Lee possesses deep understanding and expertise in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, having successfully closed multiple CAPEX financing transactions in Panama, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina in collaboration with various Asian partners.
She holds a degree in Law and German Literature from Korea University in Seoul.
