Carlos Roberto Massa Junior
Graduated in marketing and advertising, Massa has a postgraduate degree in state law and specialization in tax administration and tax reform and society. He is an entrepreneur, business administrator and communicator.
Elected in 2022 for a second term as governor of Paraná, he broke a voting record in the state, with almost 70% of valid votes and the highest proportional vote among the largest electoral colleges in Brazil.
Massa began his political career at the age of 21, when he was elected state deputy with the most significant vote in the history of the Legislative Assembly of Paraná. He was also a federal deputy and twice more state deputy, always obtaining significant votes.
Before being elected the youngest governor in history, in 2018, he was Secretary of State for Urban Development. During that period, he initiated public policies to encourage regional development in Paraná, a practice maintained during his administration at the head of the government and which has been a reference in the country.
