In his capacity as Investment Management Lead Officer, Maher leads the origination and execution of business opportunities in the Brazilian Agribusiness Value Chain for the IDB Invest, the private sector division of the Inter-American Development Bank Group.
Maher’s professional background embraces more than 29 years experience in the financial market, of which over 7 years at IDB Invest and over 13 years in Rabobank Group performing key senior executive and management roles, responsible for a multitude of relevant and strategic commercial initiatives and financial transactions.
Maher holds a Degree of Economics by Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a Master’s Degree in Financial & Accounting Management by Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado-FAAP. He was CPA20 certified, and took several other local and international courses oriented to continued and executive education by institutions as Wharton/University of Pennsylvania, New York University, Moody’s and Financial Projections Co..
